Partskhisi Fortress

There are ruins of an ancient fortress on the hill near Partskhisi village.
The first records of Partskhisi Fortress are in the chronicles of XI century, but the fortress was built earlier.
Researchers claim it happened in IX-X century.
One remarkable thing is that ruins of a much more ancient wall, more than 3.000 years old, were discovered on the same hill.

The entrance to the passage was obstructed with stones in order to prevent accidents with curious children trying to get there.
