In the spring of 2008 my brother and I went to Tetri Tskaro's military town.
When the Soviet Union broke up, a Georgian military base was open there. Later it was closed. It's probably for the better, because if it hadn't been closed, Russian forces would have bombed this place in August 2008, just as they did with the neighbouring Bolnisi and Marneuli.
We found some people in the military town, but they were very few.
By the time we went there, the military department was totally abandoned. At some places, we had an impression that people hadn't appeared there since the Soviet Union's time.
I took some photos in the town and in the military department.
Here are some of the photos. Those who remember the town will probably understand at what places they were taken.
